13 Best KitchenAid Stand Mixer Attachments

13.) KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker Attachment

KitchenAid Mixer Ice Cream Maker Attachment

The next attachment we got is the ice-cream maker.

Making ice cream could not get much easier than with the KitchenAid ice cream maker attachment.

You just have to freeze the ice cream bowl for well 15 hours (which is the standard time for ice cream bowls), pop it in the plastic dasher.

After that, attach a tiny tool with the stand mixer where we usually screw-on blade.

The good thing is that the bowl has very generous capacity i.e. there is enough space for you to make 2 quarts of the ice-cream at one time.

Though it will take some extra space in the freezer, the process is super-fast. You don’t have to wait for long as the process will take about 20 minutes and you will have your ice-cream ready.

Whether is for you or the kids, you’ll love making your own sweet treats in the Kitchen. It comes with a double-walled mixing bowl to help freeze and keep your ice-cream frozen.

Not to mention this attachment is super space-efficient compared to other ice cream makers and is an easy attachment to put on your KitchenAid Mixer.

12.) KitchenAid Food Processor Attachment

The next attachment I have for you will help you eliminate redundancies in your kitchen, and to possibly clear up that kitchen cabinet that you have stuffed with all your unused kitchen appliances.

The KitchenAid Food Processor Attachment is a great tool. With it, you can adjust how thick you want your sliced fruit, veggies, and cheese.

The large top opening makes it easy to get the larger sizes of fruits and veggies to be processed.

11.) KitchenAid Pasta Attachment

KitchenAid Mixer Pasta Attachment

Everyone loves pasta, if you haven’t ever made your own pasta, you should!

With KitchenAid Pasta Attachment you’re ready to roll, and cut Fettuccine or spaghetti pasta noodles.

Although in my opinion, the attachment is on the expensive side, if pasta is your thing, this attachment will get you in the noodle zone all the faster!

10.) KitchenAid Grinding and Straining Attachment

KitchenAid Grinder and Strainer

Honestly, I never even thought his next one to be possible. But I've found it in my searches so I'm adding it here!

The Grinding and Straining Attachment!

What is this?

Well, next time you’re at the store get all your favorite frozen or fresh berries and fruits you might want and make yourself a juice cocktail.

This attachment strains and grinds so it does all the hard work for you!

9.) KitchenAid Spiraling Attachment

KitchenAid Spiraling Attachment

Not only does this attachment come with 4 awesome blades for anything from sweet potatoes to zucchini to apples, beets, and pears. It really does it all.

All of it fits nicely into a little storage case so it doesn’t take up a ton of room in the kitchen

I must say if you runny a vegetable-heavy diet you can really benefit from having a tool like this laying around.

8.) KitchenAid Pasta Roller And Cutter

The very first thing that we examined for the KitchenAid mixer accessories was Pasta Roller and Cutter and the experience was fantastic.

We just loved this machine. It gives you that feeling like “yeah, I can make anything now”. It's super easy to use and because it's attached to the KitchenAid, you got both the hands-free to catch and feed the pasta.

We used the attachment that comes in a set of 3 and 5. It depends on you which set will be suitable for you and how much you will want to make capellini or lasagnette.

These are terms used for the types of noodles like very thin or wider noodles. Along with this, you can also go with simple pasta sheets, fettuccine, and spaghetti.

So, whichever the set you choose, they all are perfectly fit and fine.

7.) Gourmet Pasta Press

The KitchenAid has another attachment for the pasta press. This attachment has all of the other pasta cutting tools which are super cool for your cutting.

It has different discs which are also changeable, and they are used for making rigatoni, bucatini, spaghetti, large-small macaroni, and fusilli.

This attachment is perfect in making complex shapes for the pasta enthusiast and the experience simply loved. We decided to go with a rigatoni shape.

We started with a bunch of egg dough which is the mixture of all-purpose flour and some fresh-ground flour. To use this attachment, we made balls of this dough and feed them through a tube.

There, it meets the auger which further drives the balls through different shaping discs. The whole process is super easy and very interesting.

After that, you cut the pasta with the little wire attached after it’s extruded. The disadvantage we see was the cleaning of discs. They are difficult to clean as compared to the press.

6.) Food Grinder

Let me tell you first that if you’re a pure vegetarian, there is no need for a food grinder at your home.

Because we all know that food grinder is for meat. Yet there is a good place for the food grinder in your KitchenAid mixer stand.

The best part of the grinder is that its super easy to use, fast, consistent, easy to clean, easy to assemble, and for sure best for grinding the meat at home.

You can also use this for grinding seasons like fresh herbs and garlic into the mixture of pieces of chicken. It has two sausage-filling tools (one for beef and another for chicken).

5.) Spiralizer Plus with Core, Peel, and Slice

This attachment is of the next level.

You will have great fun using this tool. Well, I don’t personally like the zoodles or that sweet pot-oodles as a replacement for pasta but if there are noodles around your vegetables, I can simply love this also.

You will love watching the piece of zucchini going spiral like a firecracker. This attachment kit has 7 clean blades along with extra-fine, better and medium spiralizers.

The thin slicer is for small core veg, medium for medium core and larger for larger core veg respectively. You can also attach an extra blade with the other blades.

This attachment can be used to make homemade curly fries, to give bounciness to the salad and many more interesting things you can do at your home. So, this attachment will make your kitchen heaven for you.

We highly recommend this attachment.

4.) Fresh Prep Shredder/Slicer

This attachment is best for you to easily add the fresh sliced and shredded parts to your favorite entrees, salads, sides and more.

Just you have to attach the KitchenAid free prep slicer attachment to the power hub of the KitchenAid mixer stand and leave the rest part on the machine.

It will quickly power through your ingredients into your best choice. So, definitely it has a space in your KitchenAid mixer attachment stand.

3.) Juicer and Sauce Attachment

This was the attachment we all were very excited to try and the results we got were more than our expected fun. Because I simply love fancy juice and there is some kind of interesting feeling while making that at home.

This juicer attachment which can also be used to make apple or tomato sauce comes in some bog box. When you unpack the box, you will get bits and pieces in the box as we got after unpacking.

These pieces were basically a basket for your favorite paste level, a plunger system for sending your fruits down to the feed tube, a combo of the blade which will cut the fruits and grinds them according to your chosen basket and at last jugs for collecting the juice.

As you have to take the pieces out of the box, it seems difficult and scary to assemble but it can be assembled easily and efficiently. But you have to be careful while handling the blades assembling them to make juice.

Once you assembled that, it easy to wash out the blades and the jugs can be fitted again with ease.

There is also a quick-start manual for you that shows how to take out that pulp jet before juicing. As you have to be cautious while handling this, that’s why we simply suggest you go with the manual so that you can take out and take in the parts accordingly and this will increase the life of juicer.

We got a piece of advice in the manual that container should be pushed in open for the low paste juices. This will help you to get more perfect juice.

Well, the product is super friendly and helpful, but we are not that much convinced because of the size as it has various pieces which will take much greater space.

Also, it was not that much powerful as compared to the specific juicer. If you really want perfect juice, we suggest you take one of them also.

2.) Veggie Sheet Cutter

This attachment is like a waste of space in the KitchenAid mixer stand because this attachment will give you long sheets of vegetables and I don’t think anyone wants that type of vegetable long sheets.

Their official website suggests that these sheets can be used as a replacement for wraps, pasta or even some sort of flatbread.

By the way, this attachment was easy to handle and easy to clean. It doesn’t have that many pieces so it can be easily assembled. Well, it’s not that much waste of a product.

You can use this tool to make rice-paper wraps, lasagna noodles, crusts or something like that and it can be helpful for you.

1.) Grain Mill

Grind mill as explains by the name is an attachment to grind some grains. We used this attachment to grind some pieces of grains for using them in the pasta maker attachment.

We were very happy after getting the results. This mill is very smooth and shiny. It has only one part to handle which is like a hopper screwed to burr with a knob.

This is used to set the limit for how much fine your flour should be. It also has a cleaning brush with it.

As we were gonna use this grind flour to make pasta, we started this mill in the very finest settings. Then poured the paste into that hopper and let it split. It can take up to 10 minutes to grind a half cup of paste.

You can also turn off the machine to give it some rest and save it from overheating. This will make your flour beautiful, incredible and uniform.

Everything is fine with this grain mill except the time it can take at different speeds. Because, the less fine you want the flour, the more time it will take. Also, the sound of this mill isn’t that much loud like the other grinders and juicers but still, it can disturb your loving cat.
